Where does the total come from?

There are three reasons!

Firstly, with the kind permission of the Publishers of the Guitar Tutor Book from which our Director Derek teaches his adult beginners classes, he records early exercises for his complete beginners onto CD, and sells these in aid of charity.

Secondly, in the early days of Workshop, when we didn't have enough material for two Concerts a year, we used to hold Sponsored Events in the Summer, including

• Learning 39 instruments in one day
   
• Ecologically friendly outdoor Treasure Hunts

Thirdly, we've shared Concerts with our Director's Hampshire Guitar Orchestra, and it's pretty much impossible to unpick which ensemble raised how much of the totals we've sent off to the charities!
