The Spring 1998 Concert was our first non-Christmas Concert, and was put on to celebrate Workshop's 10th Birthday - Workshop started in April 1988
Money was raised for Emsworth Cottage Hospital, on the occasion of their Centenary and their appeal for £3500 for new physiotherapy accommodation.
In addition to their Thank You Letter in response to the money we sent them, I received a letter 5 months later...
"Dear Derek
I promised to let you know when The Friends Of Emsworth Hospital reached their Centenary Target of £3500. We did it on August 14th - just four
days before what we regard as the Hospital's Centenary date.
We are thrilled and delighted to have done this, but we are also very aware that we would have still been struggling without the help ouf the Classical
Guitar Group. Once again our deepest thanks for the £730 that started the Appeal off."
