Christmas Concert 1996
This was our first Concert to be held in St Nicholas Church Centre in Bedhampton. The new venue gave us considerably more seating, and we made sure we used it! Held on December 12th, we played to an audience of 129, and had a playing contingent of 28.
The Concert raised £706 which was given to Naomi House - the Wessex Children's Hospice - which was being constructed at the time we raised the money. They wrote "Thank you very much for the donations to the Children's Hospice Appeal. This is indeed most kind and I would be pleased if you could pass on my thanks to all your players for their support - it is greatly appreciated".
